About Us

We are the official Rotary Club of Palmetto, Florida.

We are in District 6960.

To the right is a picture of Bill Nuttle, one of our favorite members.  Also a man who has had perfect attendance for over fifty years.  He attended his first meeting in June of 1957.

The club was actually founded back in 1947.  Since then we've met at more venues in Palmetto than we can count.  Our latest stop is the Bradento Yacht Club, where we've been happily meeting for many years.

Like most Rotary Clubs, ours has a wide variety of members from all walks of life.  We pride ourselves on the service projects we provide to the North River community as well as to villages located far south of the border.

We have several major fundraisers throughout the year, including a highly regarded golf tournament, a can sculpture contest and a beer stand at Palmetto's July 4 celebration.  We're a smaller club, but we're a fun club.
